A really good nights rest despite overnight minimum of 18 degrees in Lancaster - fan thoughtfully provided in room. Great pub, great food, comfortable, reasonably central and near public transport for exploring North Lancashire and the Lakes the car-free, care-free way.

Loved this hotel! It is in the historic area of Lancaster and so everything is easy walking distance. The room had a lot of character and was roomy and comfortable! The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was so soft! The restaurant was excellent - both our dinner and breakfast were delicious! This was my favourite hotel (and location) on our 2 week UK visit!
