I would definitely recommend to stay here even if you are just visiting Amsterdam. The area is peaceful near the airport, the staff is courteous , the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is worthwhile paying extra and they offer great free transportation to the airport where you can easily take the train to downtown.

Okay for a one-night stay if and only if you need to be close to the airport. The airport shuttle is free and convenient. It's a very basic hotel, and it's not necessarily well-maintained. For example, the battery had died on the card reader used for getting into the room, and the front desk associate wasn't aware. Had to walk down twice and talk to someone, who eventually just gave me a regular key. There was also a large spider on the window.
