This hotel is in serious need of an upgrade. Even just replacing the carpet would make a huge difference. The staff for the most part were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so-so but the breakfast area was very clean and orderly. The location is great. Could see the bay from our balcony. Not far from downtown.

Hotel needs a complete renovation.
Our one night stay was disappointing. Very old room conditions. Bathroom door would not close, shower faucet was broken, toilet overflowed all over the floor and the carpet was in need of cleaning. The front desk gave our room to someone else after we were already in the room. The person came into our room thinking it was his. The hotel is in desperate need of reconditioning.

Disappointing stay
We have stayed here many times over the years. I was so disgusted at the filthiness of the carpet in the room. There were three large areas that were stained with something, one was red - not sure if it was paint or blood. The common hall windows - nearly everyone had cobwebs in them.
