Wonderful place to stay. I will be back for sure!
The location is everything, but what makes this stay extra special is the staff! My boyfriend and I were treated so kindly by the staff it truly made our stay that much more amazing! Thank you
Clarify what is considered ocean view. Paid for ocean view but received courtyard view.
We stayed at Kiawah for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful. The room is spacious and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.
This location is amazing -- we had a beach-front room on the top floor, weather was amazing, beach was wonderful, pool was heated and the golf access was fantastic. Still under COVID guidelines so masks required everywhere in the resort except for dining/drinking. Nice bar scene in lobby (socially-distanced of course) but closing a bit early at 10PM.
Beautiful hotel with awesome pool. Service was amazing!
Covid restrictions were a bummer... we had an ocean front room with a great view on the highest floor yet the gym required you to wear a mask while working out on cardio and the restaurants closed to soon (9pm)! No room service or cleaning during the stay. The room was full price yet the overall experience was less than full price.we have stayed her many time and this was a one off bc of covid... we hope?
Kiawah was wonderful. The landscaping is beautiful the Sanctuary was very well maintained. If you want a relaxing trip, this is the place to go. I will add there were very little things to do in the evening which can be possibly attributed to Covid-19 but no telling. Wonderful experience, service was also great and food was delicious. At the spa, had a citrus drench which was a fantastic service.
Had a first floor ocean front room. It was convenient to be able to hop over the railing at night to go walk on the beach when the doors closest to the room closed at night but it barely had a view of the beach with the dune mostly blocking the perspective onto the beach. Likely a floor or two up would have a much scenery. The service was excellent and the staff seem to really care about your experience. The ocean room is definitely worth the time and the ocean course is unbelievable.
Despite the pandemic service, food, and room was great. An overall great experience and look forward to returning.
