Best Hostess in Edinburgh
We had a wonderful stay, made all the better by Rhona's warm welcome, great tips for where to go, and delicious breakfast. Property is a short walk to the heart of town.

Wonderful stay
Amazing stay at Auld Reekie. Hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and entertaining. Breakfast was always hot and made to order. Beds were comfy and clean. A nice walk to Arthur's Seat. Plenty of buses that take you into the city and Ubers were easy to take to/from, though they always thought it was on the other side of the street and a few houses ahead. Overall a wonderful stay.

A wonderful Edinburgh welcome and experience.
I recommend Auld Reekie very highly. The owner Rhona is a delight, an absolute natural as a guest house owner, who could not be more helpful and friendly. She and the spectacular breakfast offered make a wonderful start to every day. The house is a lovely Edinburgh villa, beautifully maintained. It's located just outside the city centre in a very residential area but is very well served by many local buses, which seemed to arrive at least every three minutes or so, headed towards Princes St and Edinburgh's many attractions.

Very Good8.0
We had a great stay at the Aulde Reekie Guest House. The room was lovely and clean with fabulous black out blinds on the window. The area is nice and quiet, an easy half hour walk into the Royal Mile. Breakfast was great and the hostess Rhona was wonderful. The twin bed would have been suitable for a young child and the water pressure in the shower was not great. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed out stay. A wonderful start to our holiday in Scotland.
