Value for money out of town Hotel
Overall the facilities are good at the Wheatsheaf. The restaurant menu was very good and we invited friends to join us for a meal during our stay and they were impressed with the menu range. The breakfast is OK with plenty of choice. The double glazing is a must to keep closed as the road noise from the M3 in the morning is very loud. We forgot to close the secondary glazing on our last night so we were woken by the traffic.

Overnight stop
Great service as always - both the house item and the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back.

Saturday one night stay
Stayed a night as were attending a wedding locally. Staff friendly on arrival. We didn't eat dinner there but did have breakfast which was good for the price. Full English plus fruit, yoghurt, tea/coffee and fresh juice for £8. Run a good size. Flat screen telly and fan in the room. Good size bathroom. Good shower. Couple of cracked tiles in the bathroom but overall clean and tidy and a nice stay.
