Convenientely locate hotel
Nice hotel conveniently located with easy access to motorway. Nice quiet area with good parking. However, there was no air conditioning. Usually, you don't need air conditioning in England but the weather was very hot during this trip

Value for money out of town Hotel
Overall the facilities are good at the Wheatsheaf. The restaurant menu was very good and we invited friends to join us for a meal during our stay and they were impressed with the menu range. The breakfast is OK with plenty of choice. The double glazing is a must to keep closed as the road noise from the M3 in the morning is very loud. We forgot to close the secondary glazing on our last night so we were woken by the traffic.

Good price, pub attached.
It's one of the closest hotels to our office so often stay at this hotel. Formally a premier inn hotel they have retained some of the colour schemes in the rooms. The service is generally good and the attached pub serves reasonable food. The downside is that some of the rooms are starting to look a little tired and the noise from the road. They do have secondary glazing but in the summer months you need some air flow because the rooms are not fitted with air con so may be a bit noisy for some. Overall its ok for the price and I continue to return.

I stay in a number of hotels for business and I can say that this one met all our requirements. The staff were excellent and very helpful
