Don"t!
Great location, but bad hotel! I stayed at another hotel after this that was similar price and location. It was significantly better in comfort, customer service, cleanliness, and quietness. One of the women who works days at the front desk never looks at you as you walk right by her. I asked her not to have my room cleaned one day. Not only was it cleaned but my door was left unlocked. When I told the man who I checked out with about this his response was "oh that means she just forgot to tell her." He showed no concern. For two nights straight someone kept going in and out of the room next to me. It was very disturbing. It was all night and seemed about once an hour. I would have called the front desk but the phone in my room didn't work. The staff is unhelpful/unfriendly, it is in bad shape, housekeeping leaves rooms unlocked, and who knows what goes on there at night! Do not stay here!!!!

Very happy I chose De La Mer The location was perfect. I would love to return after the renovation's... But that had nothing to do with the room and how clean it was, no one can say anything bad about the breakfast, OMG... The staff was very helpful to me, making all my phone calls, and tours, since I went unplugged it was a special bonus... Tel Aviv is magic, I loved walking one short block to the sea, meeting so many friendly people... Everyone I met was so helpful, making my stay so enjoyable... Thank you to the staff, you were all so professional... Blessings, Alfred

Breakfast brought me back...
Breakfast was great! That is what brought me back. The girls at the front desk were helpful and spoke English. One gave us a great recommendation for a popular local's restaurant(Port Said). It was a little walk to get there but was worth it.

Stay Away
I had to book a hotel for one night in Tel Aviv and this place seemed to be somewhat affordable compared to the other high priced hotels in the area. This was a very bad experience overall. We requested two twin beds and got one double. Room is grimy and the large balcony unusable because the table and chairs were so filthy. When we arrived for check in at midnight, the 24 hour staff was lounging comfortably on the couch on the phone and looked bothered by the fact that she needed to help us. Overall a really bad experience and way overpriced for the product. This is more like a hostel than a hotel.
