Well lets just say it would not be fair to do any rating for the Hickok Hotel and Casino, because upon our arrival after a long treacherous ride in the wind and rain on a motorcycle towing a trailer the nice lady informed us that the hotels air conditioning was out and not working, presently at 77 in the rooms. She said she kindly booked us a room across the way. Let’s just say, it was NOT the Hickok and leave it at that. Did I mention the room we received had a space that looked like a stripper stage in our bedroom?

Close to everything! Clean & Comfortable
Friendly staff. Nice antique style building and rooms. Comfortable. Very close to the Grand for concerts without having to pay for an arm and a leg.

Housekeeping needs to knock
Was good except housekeeping don't knock on the door or say housekeeping at 830 in the morning just walked right in and turned on the lights. I'm glad I was covered up! He said sorry but then started talking to someone in the hall saying there still in there, then shut the door.

Thumbs up
Def would stay again. Stayed on a weeknight, had the place to ourselves for $68 night. Clean, comfortable, right on top of Main Street and had neat historic feel. Well worth staying instead of a large commercialized hotel.
