Great price and view but bring an extension cord
The view and price is amazing. The customer service was also wonderful. Leisurely breakfast until 10AM and checkout at 12PM is a nice touch (most places are 9AM and 11AM). However, the room furniture has not been updated in a few decades... There are no USB outlets and the only accessible regular outlets in the room for charging phones were in the bathroom or on the floor next to either the front door or the back door. It is also clear that the owners have chosen the least expensive maintenance routes with a leaky/hard to move shower head, shower curtain that sticks because there isn't a bump out curtain rod, and cheap linoleum bathroom floors that show water damage wear and tear. The bed was exceptionally soft and felt almost like an air mattress when sleeping with two people (if one person got up the other would sink). Keep in mind at around $100 a night this place is a steal for the area. If the owners updated the place and didn't cheap out on materials they would probably be charging $200 a night for the area. To clarify the lovely view is of the river, not the ocean, depending on the time of year expect fog to cloud the view.

Picture Perfect Views Without the Mid-town Traffic
Fabulous view. Great breakfast. Super clean. Updated furnishings, linens, and grounds. And we really appreciated the ease of getting into and out of the hotel. Being 0.9 miles from the heart of downtown made the traffic much more bearable on the first sunny spring weekend with all the beach goers.

Great location and view. Linens and bed are old, but functional. Everything was clean. The fridge is larger than most locations, which was convenient. Staff was professional and nice. Very enjoyable stay.
