We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The history of the hotel and its charm were memorable. And to stay on the rim was priceless. My only concern was the room size and bed sizes. Way to small. And if the size can’t be changed some of the large pieces of furniture need to be removed. TV cabinets removed. And wall mounted flat screen TVs would help immensely. But we overlooked that for all that was offered otherwise. Thank you. Enjoy.

The staff in the evening at check in was not the friendliest. I had. A few questions, I was traveling solo & they answered then but in a way that made me feel I was a bother. They were very short. The morning staff was helpful & polite. The room itself was tidy, however, after I exited the shower I noticed someone had written on the mirror - the steam brought it out... so I doubt the mirror was cleaned between stays. The location is amazing... but I do not know that it was worth the cost of staying there - although staying in the park is a definite plus.

Lovely old building and dining room... staff were efficient sweet and friendly... the room was so small with a tiny queen bed that we could hardly move around... it was not really rentable and at 400.00 a night... I can only say really? Really? 400.00 Again great service and staff

This was a great opportunity to stay in a lovely historic hotel right in the Grand Canyon. It is located on the South rim trail and we could view the Grand Canyon from our room’s balcony with high top table and chairs while we had coffee and breakfast. The hotel staff was very helpful to answer my questions and room was perfect with refrigerator and lovely bathroom (nice hot shower, too). I’d recommend this hotel since staying in the park is best to catch the sunrise and sunset or quick access to Bright Angel trail down into the canyon. Don’t miss the porch swings or rocking chairs on the hotel porches to sit and relax.

Ultimate Grand Canyon experience.....best location with outstanding service. Rooms updated but still retain the charm of the early 1900s.

    Nice location but small room

hotel right along the rim of the Grand Canyon. Great views and very convenient to the rim walk. However, the room is really small. There is a safe, fridge, and enough electrical plugs. It was cool enough that we didn’t need air conditioning so we just left the window open. Older style hotel with lots of charm. But considering the price, the room just wasn’t up to what I expected. The dining room, you need reservations but the food was very good if pricey.
