Great, for the money.
The hotel itself was noce, seeing as Franklin was in the path of the first solar eclipse in 100 years, the hotels needed to be nice. The room looked to have been recently reconditioned. Some mildew in the bathroom around the tub spout and drain toggle, but nothing too bad. Nice big TV, but with the simple remote they put in the rooms, we couldn’t adjust the aspect ratio on the screen to take up the whole thing, and accessing the menu from the TV itself was somehow inhibited. A little inconvenience, but nothing to call the front desk about. Speaking of the front desk, the receptionist was really pleasant. The one complaint I had was the complimentary continental breakfast consisted of pastry’s, bread, cereal, and milk, along with the usual breakfast drink dispenser. I think there was coffee too, but the pastry’s were tiny and unappetizing, so we didn’t eat anything there. Still, not a big deal, we simply went across the street for breakfast. Overall I’d give the Econolodge a 4/5 for our purposes, which was a base for our antique shopping. We would gladly stay here again.

The worst hotel
It was horrible. I will be calling to get this taken care of. I wasted my free room on this and i think i was totally screwed out of my free room.

Okay stay
One night stay while traveling between destinations. The room had a musty smell that never went away, even with the air going constantly. The bed was comfortable, but not the best. Was worth the value has compared to the prices of nearby hotels. Worst part was the mowing company showed up @ 745 on Sunday morning to now the grounds. Sleep after that was not possible. Recommend planning mowing activities later in the day. Staff at the hotel was very courteous and check in was very efficient.
