Excellent Location
This hotel has to be the best deal near the Zocola. I stayed for New Year's Eve. I used it as a base to walk around and see all the festivities including the huge concert held on Paseo Reforma. This hotel has been remodeled and is very clean and tidy. No carpeting which attributes to keeping it hygienic. All the staff I talked to were very nice and cordial. Very hot water even with a hotel full of New Year's guest. I had a double bed room and it was situated in the center of the hotel which was very quiet even on a holiday. As with most hotels, you will still get some noise from random people talking in the hallway when leaving or arriving, but other than that I slept just fine. I didn't try the restaurant or bar as I ate out the entire time. There's so many shops, stores and eateries around it's overwhelming. In conclusion, between the price and location you just can't beat it. I will definitely return here next time I need to spend time in the Historical Center.

Our first impression was not so good but it turned to be a nice stay .

Hotel Roble lived up to expectations.
It was pretty much as expected given the reviews I read - nothing fancy. Good for people on a budget concerned primarily with having a safe, clean place to rest their head at the end of a day of exploring Mexico City. Wifi was strong for me (in the room and in the lobby), the Metro (Pino Suarez) is a short walk, and I found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful, but then, I speak Spanish, so that probably went a long way.

Great location close to center. Room had A.C. and safe. Wi-Fi would occasionally lose signal however for the most part worked fine. Small room but fine for the price. Quiet room.
