Location is key!
Great location! A clean and quiet inn within close proximity to the university and town. Walking distance to everything. Excellent coffee in the lobby and a nice continental breakfast. I would absolutely stay there again.

Great location
Location. Went to a show at the Fox Theater. Walked. Plenty of food options, due to being by the University.

Dog problem aside- I would highly recommend!
Super location, very clean old school room. Room was tiny and unfortunately for us we has a barking howling dog very near us in another room. The dog would go on 5 minute howling and barking fits with both owners yelling at it to shut the “f” up. Can’t blame the hotel as it was brief moments not constant but it happened early am (615) and later at night around midnite. Anyway very small but efficient room, clean, newish bathroom, great service in lobby and check in. Awesome location, walkable to everywhere. The dog was my only issue, room was small but perfect for a couple and clean at a very good price. Highly recommend!

Do NOT stay here if you are handicapped.
We did not stay the night due to my handicapped husband being discriminated against by Serge, the night clerk. We went to dinner and a concert, and when we came back, someone was parked in the handicapped spot. There is only one. The vehicle did not have a placard, we do. When asked to have the vehicle towed, Serge got defensive and said it was his vehicle and he always parks there. He is not handicapped. He moved his car, but not without attitude. When we asked to speak to a manager, he said he was the only one there. He called us confrontational, and accused us of smelling like alcohol. Then he started insisting we "go to bed and sleep it off." Whether we had a drink with dinner or not does not excuse his treatment of us. Because he kept insisting we go to bed, we did not feel comfortable leaving our car in his care. So we left. The bed was never unmade. We tried several times to get a hold of the GM Stephanie, but none of our phone calls or emails have been returned. I can not in good faith give anything but the lowest rating for overall. Gorgeous room, clean, pleasant person who checked us in. I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone.
