Great location bar Vatican
Location just on the doorstep of the Vatican was great. Ask for a recommendation for a restaurant, we were not disappointed. Breakfast was good. Room was adequate, a little old feeling, and as a couple we had seerate beds which was disappointing. For a last minute booking we were happy though, location was the deciding factor. Metro close by. Book tickets for Vatican well in advance.

Rome for a day
Spacious, clean room with a beautiful balcony. Across the street from the steps where all the tours meet which was convenient as we did an early morning tour of the sistine chapel (7:15 AM). My friend got her hair blown out around the corner at the hair salon. There was a convenience store around the corner as well and many cute restaurants. About a 10 minute walk from the Metro.

Decent stay
The front desk staff were very helpful. They loaned us an umbrella for the pouring rain and also switched our room when the first one smelled like cigarette smoke. If you're going to the Vatican, it's a good place to stay (you can see the museum entrance from the window). However, it's a little far for most everything else, and there are not a lot of good restaurants in the area.
