Pension Eleni, Nafplio
Very Good8.0
A very good value for money.
Pension Eleni is a well run property. The room is small (there are larger rooms with balcony, but we didn’t manage to find one) but you have everything you need. A nice vue to the sea is a bonus. Mrs Eleni is very friendly although she speakes English quite poorly. You don’t have a real breakfast but they offer butter, bread and marmelade and you have the necessary kitchenware available. The WiFi is OK. Overall is a very good value for money. Still, be aware that if you do not come by car (or taxi) you have to climb a good number o stairs, a problem if you have luggages. Also, you have to use the stairs, down and up, everytime you go in the old city, which is really near by (Syntagma sq is 200m away!) with shops and restaurants. If you come by car, as we did, the good news is that there is a public parking very near by. The bad news is that finding a free slot is not easy, especially during the evening (maybe this is the case only during the full season - we have been in August). Daniela & Alexandrunear

Small and comfortable
It was a decent room. Its not a hotel. Its a small clean room with a great view and no amenities. The town was great. Lots to see. Great food and people.

Cute hotel in Old Town
We loved the town, location of the pension and our "landlady." The rooms are small and cheerful. Water hot pot, coffee, refrigerator and breakfast snacks were nice.

Lots of stairs and parking in public Lot nearby. Old building with dated utilities. It is in a original Venetian town building in the old town. Cute but small.

True Greek hospitality
A totally authentic Greek experience! We were given a very warm welcome by the elderly owner Eleni who showed us to our room which was very clean, had a lovely balcony with a sea view and basic breakfast facilities. The hotel was a great base to explore Nafplio, right in the centre of the old town. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
