Good 6.0
Hotel is located in busiest part of SF very touristy. Parking is $60 per day which I should have checked into prior to booking. I felt that price was outrageous esp considering the spaces are very small and different to enter and exit vehicle esp with baggage. Lobby and patio area was great. We really enjoyed the patio area and breakfast at the food camper. Service from staff seemed reluctantly helpful. I was pretty disappointed with our room for the price of $315/night. Beds were 5/10 for comfort. Room design was cute but was in disrepair. Walls had multiple eyesore areas and kitchen vanity was peeling all over and fridge did not cool. Honestly I would not choose this hotel again.

Beach Traffic
Be careful with the beach facing rooms as they also face the loudest part of the neighborhood.

A great place in a great location
A great find. We found a really reasonable rate. (We reserved at what we thought was an okay rate, then the next day we found a much better rate.) The location is terrific--right near all the action on Fisherman's Wharf, yet a block away so very quiet. The hotel is very stylish, with a great outdoor patio area with multiple fire pits, outdoor games and artwork. The rooms are very comfortable with nice linens, big TV, and better than usual room lighting. We asked for and received an accessible room, which was really helpful. However, I would say that the room needed some loving care in the bathroom. The vanity had been removed--probably to give more room for wheelchairs, etc. But that left ugly visible pipes around the sink. And the sink! Don't plan on washing your hair in the sink. It's very tiny and impossible to get your head under the faucet! It would have been nice to have more information on the hotel facilities in the room--no description of restaurants, etc. There is a nice restaurant/bar called Fire and Brew that's on the opposite side of the outdoor plaza. It had good reasonably priced food and drink (except don't get the "craft" sodas--very watery.) Although we didn't do this, you can order it delivered to rooms. But it also was easy to carry-in. There also is a "Breakfast Trailer" in the courtyard. The waffle was good but the staff spoke little English and goofed up order. All in all a great place and could be even better with slight tweaks.
