The Bethel Inn Resort, Bethel
we booked a standard room. It was not cheep. The quality and space of the room would fall under a budget hotel. We were very disappointed.

My 3 nights at Bethel Inn
Well the two twin beds together to make a queen was awkward and the pool on Wed and Thu night was cold I assume because not many people staying at the Resort weekday, however, on Friday the pool temp was a lot hotter I assume because there were many people at the Resort that night. In addition the pool closes super super early at 8pm which is ridiculous because after skiing and eating dinner it would be nice to go for a dip but it closes WAY too early... Also, the hallway reminds me of the shinning... Check out my photos... LOL

A good family place to stay for family ski trip!
Nice updated room/suite; especially for an Inn of this age. Didn’t eat in the fine dining are. Tavern was pretty descent, although our waiter was not very good attentive. Other waitstaff and hostess seemed good. Food was a little better than average.

Pretty good but not great (see room comments)
We stayed for 3 nights in a superior room in March 2018. Our room was in the main building at the end of the hall. The room was large (actually 2 rooms - one with a sofa and fireplace and on with the bed. We found the bed to be ok and pillows not so great. It took me forever to get hot water the first night but after that it was ok. The best party was the included breakfast on the weekends (I think it may be offered more frequently in high season). It was an extensive buffet of hot and cold choices. The worst part was the noise in the room. We heard everything. The cleaning folks every day slamming doors and stomping around the hall and chatting. The piano located on the main level which was played both Sat and Sunday morning. They’ve music 2 floors down on Friday night. The front door continually slamming as people walked in and out (luckily this slowed as the evening went on). You get the picture. I think if we had been in another hall or building we would have had a different experience. The inn was convenient to a wedding we attended so served the purpose.

Pleasant stay
Overall a very good stay. I loved the charm and the historic classic buildings and rooms. Our room was great for what we needed. Their breakfast is great way to start your day and in that lovely dining room. It was also a plus that the mountain explorer shuttle stopped right at the front to go to the mountain.
