We loved this hotel. There was even a wonderful dog on the property that visited each apartment and provided comfort and relaxation for all the guests. He was very calm and nice to everyone. The apartment was very clean and new. The private beach across the street was wonderful as well. Angelena was also a great host available by phone. I am sure i spelled her name wrong but that's me. I could go on with more but i think i have said enough to get my message across

A Treasure in Aruba
My husband and I love condo/apartments/cottages, hotels are just not homey enough. This place is a treasure. Clean, full kitchen with a pool. Across the street is a small beach area with a deck. It is off the beaten path, with the airport behind you. Which, by the way, you don't hear. We had a few questions and we contacted Angelique who was so helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this place if you just want to relax.

Relaxing Trip
We have been to Aruba many times and usually stay in the Palm Beach area. This trip we were looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of crowds. We wanted a place where we could unwind and just relax. Vistalmar Ocean Suites were just the ticket. The accommodations were very clean, updated, and spacious. We enjoyed breakfast each morning on our veranda watching boats come and go at the local marina. Most evenings we took a bottle of wine to the dock and watched the sun go down. There was a restaurant within walking distance with a wide variety of food and drinks. A car rental is recommended to drive around the island to various beaches and restaurants. Nothing is very far. The host was always quick in answering and questions or concerns.

Not impressed
The room overall wasn’t bad. We arrived a day earlier than our resort stay so had to book something for one night. The location is less than desirable with no real beach and restaurants nearby. We did have some issues with our TV and one of us took a shower and the next shower didn’t have hot water. There were no instructions in the room so I constantly had to text the lady to ask questions, tv, taxi information, restaurant and shopping. We finally just went to bed so we could wake up and start our vacation the next day at our resort. The bed and linens were just very average/poor quality.

A wonderful two weeks!
I didn't like the looks of the short ride off the highway, but the property is great. 8 condos with a pool and common area in addition to to your private patio. Across a quiet road is a private dock with table ,chairs, lounge chairs, hammocks. Some are over the water. Beautiful. Great dining at Fish house Marina within a short walk. NO cat problem when we were there. Hi.rless dog packs a visible everywhere in Aruba. They are skidish, but bark fearsly. Close to airport and main highways. We were not in a flight path, do no noise probable. Owner is very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!!

I wish I could give this 20 stars. I can't say enough good things about Vistalmar. The apartments look brand new, super quiet. We had no idea they were fully booked until we saw the cars outside. The hotel cat and dog are the sweetest. We looked forward to seeing them daily. The property is GORGEOUS. I did not want to leave. I guarantee I'll be staying here again if we decide to come back to Aruba. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
