Hale Ohia Cottages, Volcano
Lovely cottage!!
This was an absolute beautiful place to stay. Location was perfect, just up the road from volcano park entrance. Staff were super fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. A lovely and delicious breakfast was left in our cottage for each day of our stay. The bed was majorly comfy, and the shower hot and roomy. Would absolutely recommend this place.

A place to get away.
I needed to go somewhere to get away from my hectic life. This place was exactly what I needed. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. Our cottage did not have a bath tub but that was okay. However, we did have a fire place. The birds singing was awesome. What an amazing place to stay.

Very Good8.0
We stayed here to avoid driving back and forth across the island, so that we could see the volcano at night. It was a perfect place to stay for one night. We wish we had been there two to three days. The grounds are beautiful.

Not so great for the price
The cottage was nice but lacking in comfort and amenities. It was chilly while we were there and there is a fireplace to heat the place up but it gets too hot if we leave it on while sleeping and it gets too cold if we turn it off. So we ended up waking up every night a few times to turn the fireplace on and off :/ That was my main complaint. Everything is pretty good, except that we had already stayed at a cheaper b&b which was exceptional before coming to this and many things were inferior compared to the other b&b like the breakfast, service, amenities so that disappointed us quite a bit. We questioned why we paid more to stay here. But if you had just come here, maybe it won't feel as disappointing.
