Nice, spacious apartment.
A nice apartment for a family of four. Very comfortable and spacious. Complete kitchen for self-catering. Convenient free parking. Only thing was the heating system was not sufficient for the cold night.

Great view.
Just an overnight visit with relatives. The hotel dining room had a fabulous view over the city at sunset and it is close enough to the city for walking although the hill back up to the hotel might have you break a sweat. The hotel apartments we stayed probably need an upgrade, the furniture was shabby but the beds were good.

Depends what you are looking for
We stayed in the separate suites building. This is not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel though the large size (two large bedrooms, kitchen/dinning room/lounge) did give us plenty of space, useful after others stays in small hotel bedrooms elsewhere). We stayed in a suite which the receptionist couldn't describe how to find it - it was hidden away in a corner and not signed as you approached the suites building so we had to go back and someone then (helpfully) showed us to the room. The suites is about size not high quality but it was clean inside. Outside the suites you access from the lower side was a bit messy with some rubbish and tractor tracks around from work that has obviously been going on so not ideal. The main hotel was good - the restaurant for breakfast / dinner was well appointed with views over the city. This hotel is not well located for walking into the centre (though can give you a view) but reception are on top of helping you get a taxi into the centre if needed. As a comparison we also stayed in the River Lee hotel in cork ( we needed two nights but could only book 1 night in each) - the River Lee hotel to my mind was nicer - more modern, better location (short walk into town), better and more varied breakfast and gave the impression of more professional staff)
