The 1959 Boutique Villa, Phnom Penh
A pleasant stay, convenient to the river & palace
My room was very comfortable and clean, and conveniently located next to an AMAZING vegetarian restaurant (with non-vegetarian options, too). The hotel also helped set me up with a tuktuk driver for touring about during my stay in Phnom Penh. I especially enjoyed the breakfast that was provided - kept me full as I puttered about the city!

I spent all night trying to kill the mosquitos in my room. They really should provide electric fly swatters in each room so the guests can take care of the mosquito problem before we try to sleep. The room was full of flying insects and spiders trying to feast on them. There's a nice restaurant called Corn next door. If you exit the hotel and turn left, cross the park, there are more options for eating. The actually room itself was not 27 as advertised. I would say it was 20 m2 or less. There were two bathrobes in the closet, which was a nice touch. Most 3-Star hotels don't have bathrobes.
