This Is more an apartment than hotel room. Location is fabulous! We parked our car and walked everywhere.

Good location and very clean
Enjoyed our stay and very clean condo. Only had an issue with the shower drain which was very slow to drain on first 2 days and on the last day it blocked completely after we had shower and it never drained by the next morning. we left a note to look into the problem.

Disappointed traveller
PROS: close to heart of downtown Toronto, walking distance to entertainment district and food. Loved the ensuite washer/dryer, and superb wifi. CONS: sofa bed was hard and lumpy and very uncomfortable, we had to take turns sleeping in it, and ended up using the extra blanket (as the first one was stained) UNDER the sofa bed to provide extra cushioning. Fitted sheets for sofa bed not supplied (found a dirty fitted sheet stuffed in a kitchen drawer that required washing before using). Missing items for kitchen (3 chairs only, 2 forks, missing parts in microwave and coffeemaker, no dish drainer, no detergent for dishes but fortunately brought my own). It's not really a hotel, it is a condo rental, and thus any concerns (liked the clogged drainage of the shower) could not be addressed right away. As a matter of fact, the contact info in the suite is outdated, and phone calls are answered as 'hello' as calls clearly go to a private number and you have to confirm by asking 'is this Duke Furnished Suites' - so a definite unprofessional feel in how the suites are managed.

excellent downtown location
great location within walking distance of most attractions. Only real drawback were the elevators that were slow and took a long time to come. As well, one of the 3 was not working the whole time and apparently is that way all the time according to owners. Since this is a condominium building there really is no hotel staff but just actually a doorman/security desk. It was a secure building requiring a pass key to open the outside doors.

Think Twice
Actual room and "hotel" were great. However, because it's sub-leased apartments, there was poor communication with Duke when problems arose. For example, our reservation was for 3 adults, and they would only give us 1 room key (and security REFUSED to let us in or out, despite IDs). We asked for extra towels, and our calls were not returned. When Duke finally did call, they asked us to re-locate to another room, because they had new people coming in, who wanted that room. What?? We were there for a professional conference. This was NOT a professionally run organization.

Great location, clean, and comfortable. The ability to utilize the option to reserve the cabanas & access to the parking garage would be a plus. Grounds staff mentioned to utilize the parking space attached to the condo required prior request through the booking company. An option to request to utilize parking accommodation would have been helpful.

Business and conference in Toronto
Duke Suites was very close to many amenities, Theatre District, shopping, convenience stores, so that walking was very convenient. The suite was clean and new. Also a fantastic view of the city. The concierge desk staff were very helpful. The unit could use more than 4 each of dishware. With 4 people meeting, e.g. not enough mugs for coffee. More info on suite, (ie how to turn the heat up and down, use of Washer/Dryer/stove and dishwasher and switches for lights/fans, location of garbage and recycling) would be helpful. For example, I could not figure out how to turn off the bathroom fan.
