PROS: close to heart of downtown Toronto, walking distance to entertainment district and food. Loved the ensuite washer/dryer, and superb wifi.
CONS: sofa bed was hard and lumpy and very uncomfortable, we had to take turns sleeping in it, and ended up using the extra blanket (as the first one was stained) UNDER the sofa bed to provide extra cushioning. Fitted sheets for sofa bed not supplied (found a dirty fitted sheet stuffed in a kitchen drawer that required washing before using). Missing items for kitchen (3 chairs only, 2 forks, missing parts in microwave and coffeemaker, no dish drainer, no detergent for dishes but fortunately brought my own). It's not really a hotel, it is a condo rental, and thus any concerns (liked the clogged drainage of the shower) could not be addressed right away. As a matter of fact, the contact info in the suite is outdated, and phone calls are answered as 'hello' as calls clearly go to a private number and you have to confirm by asking 'is this Duke Furnished Suites' - so a definite unprofessional feel in how the suites are managed.
