Loved Our Stay, Would Book Again
As 2 moms traveling over 1,000 miles from Maryland with our 2 young daughters for a cheerleading competition, we were quite pleased with our choice to book here. We had a room on the 1st floor in the main bldg, the lounge & lobby were cozy and the halls were quite. You can tell that the hotel is being renovated but we found our room clean, spacious & comfortable. The in-hotel lounge was open Fri & Sat night, the bartender was friendly & the drinks well made. The staff was professional, friendly and always accommodating, honoring any request we made & let us do late check out on our last day there. The pool is small, but the girls had fun, they offered wifi and a good selection of cable channels. The location is in close proximity to many shops & restaurants, about 15 minutes from the Pensacola Bay Center & about 30 minutes from Pensacola Beach. It was easy to have food delivered to our room & the mexican restaurant next door was very good, we walked there and back from the hotel for dinner. The hotel offers a small breakfast of pastries, juice & coffee, but there was an Ihop & Waffle House within a few minutes drive if we wanted more that what was offered. Overall we were happy with our stay and would book again if our travels bring us back to Pensacola in the future.

Other than smelling like cigarette smoke, it was delightful.

Worst housekeeping. Dirty sheets for 3+days
Convenient location to NAS for military families, took me 10min to get to base.Housekeeping was AWFUL.Got bloody nose&some got on sheets.Left card on bed that says to leave this card on bed for sheets to be changed...came back to same dirty sheets on bed. Left card on bed again next day, still had dirty sheets.took videos everyday for proof.went to front desk&politely asked for sheets to be day sheets were changed but blanked was still the same dirty one.went to front desk again&got clean one. Man at front desk, David I believe?, was very polite, helpful & cared about customers experience.Housekeeper didn't replace the tiny bar of soap in bathroom to wash hands at all during my 6day stay which is absurd.every hotel I've ever stayed at gives you fresh new soap everyday. I had to go ask a different housekeeper myself for new soap. Breakfast was disappointing.Only coffee, fruit cups, donuts&juice(out of OJ all 6days).Outdoor pool was open but not cleaned&gate was always locked. Disappointing on beautiful 80degree days.outdoor space has lot of potential but needs TLC.Broken chairs in outdoor space should be fixed or thrown out. Indoor pool was warm & nice. Gazebos outside are nice, had my coffee there every morning. Gym was tiny, hot, equipment old & rusty so I didn't use any of it.Not worth it for price paid.would consider staying again if improvements in Housekeeping services, breakfast and outdoor amenities are made.caused me too much stress&frustration on vacation

Hotel desperate for fixing! But Great staff!
The stay was quick, just a simple night to sleep on our longer trip. Breakfast was a bust, coffee and donuts. Our room was comfortable but there were still previous people razors in our shower. The indoor pool was nice but the ceiling could fall down at any moment from the massive water damage. We were happy to be able to have our dogs there but the extra amount they charged was not worth the delepitation on the hotel. If it wasn’t the only one around that allowed dogs we would not have stayed there. New paint for the whole building but it’s not fooling anyone. Staff was very friendly & nice and helpful!
