The Dean was a great place to stay in Dublin. It is within walking distance of most of the popular spots. The rooms are small but perfect for city stay. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The location is in a "night club" area so there is noice into the morning time but the hotel provides ear plugs and we were not bothered by it.

Exceptional 10.0
Staff at hotel was welcoming and helpful (the took my luggage early and even called me when my room was ready). The room was just gorgeous and had every convenience! (Including snack options). I did find the restaurant/ bar staff to be the very opposite in terms of welcoming or helpful. Just shy of being rude. I finished my drink and did not stay to eat. FYI, found a lovely restaurant right down the block where the food was great and staff professional.

Very stylish. Front desk staff friendly and solicitious. Two issues: we didnt realize how very smalll a "pod" room is it was really hard to move around becayse thetiny floor was the only olace fir our suitcases. 2. The dean houses a nightvlub and os next door to other such places. Mysic and crowd noise went onuntil 4am 2 of of 2 mights. Front desk staff informed us snd they provude ear plugs. It's a modern, stylish cleahotel but it wasn't

Stylish hotel for a fun couple
The rooms and hotel and well designed and visually appealing. Stylish and hip decor and ambiance. The sounds of the nightclub (music, singing, laughing) didn’t keep me awake fortunately! The area is walking distance to many shops, bars, restaurants and busy hum of Dublin. Access to a cool bar and restaurant upstairs and a bar downstairs. Good for a young energetic couple.

Amazing staff and hip atmosphere
This hotel is amazing and the staff is top notch - thank you Alan and Herman especially! The entire staff the kindest, most accommodating and gracious I have experienced in a while, and I travel every week. The rooftop restaurant and bar is a great place to start or cap off your night. If you appreciate boutique hotels in cool neighbourhoods rather than tourist-trap areas, this is the place for you. NOTE: this place IS 5 stars, but you come here for fun and excellent service, not quiet comfort. This hotel is along a street with lively nightlife and if that's not your vibe, don't stay here and then get mad because of the buzzing social scene. The neighborhood during the day is lovely and is a nice short walk to the shopping and tourist area and close to St. Stevens Green. Love The Dean and I will return!
