Amazing staff and hip atmosphere
This hotel is amazing and the staff is top notch - thank you Alan and Herman especially! The entire staff the kindest, most accommodating and gracious I have experienced in a while, and I travel every week. The rooftop restaurant and bar is a great place to start or cap off your night. If you appreciate boutique hotels in cool neighbourhoods rather than tourist-trap areas, this is the place for you. NOTE: this place IS 5 stars, but you come here for fun and excellent service, not quiet comfort. This hotel is along a street with lively nightlife and if that's not your vibe, don't stay here and then get mad because of the buzzing social scene. The neighborhood during the day is lovely and is a nice short walk to the shopping and tourist area and close to St. Stevens Green. Love The Dean and I will return!

Couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay at the Dean. The staff was very friendly, and David Lee at the front desk went out of his way to answer all of my question about the area, and provide helpful tips for my stay in Dublin. My only comment would be that anyone that’s a light sleeper should request a room away from the front of the hotel, as there’s a nightclub that plays music until 4am. That being said, I got used to it after a few nights and it was a small issue for an otherwise great stay. I’d stay at the Dean again in a heartbeat. Absolutely fantastic stay and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the heart of the city!

Hipster helpful happy
Every person was over top helpful. Fantastic area. Really true to a retro hipster theme. Only complaint room had terribly stained sink which was gross looking but not dirty. Lovely soaps and shampoos etc tho.
