Comfortable night
I came to Milford Haven on a business trip for 2 days and decided to stay at The old Kings Arms a few minutes away by car. I chose it mainly because it was close to my destination and seemed like a good place to stay. The car park is located down a narrow lane, accessed from the main road in front of the castle, it's easy to miss the signage so keep an eye out. A short walk through a small alcove and yard you'll find yourself in the rear reception area of the hotel. I was greeted by a young man at the desk who was robotic in his script, telling me the times for breakfast, where my room is and asking would I like a table for dinner. My room was up a small flight of stairs past a lovely sitting area and down a long hallway to the rear of the building. My room was of average size (maybe a little small) and had a small Tv and an en-suite shower and WC and a small entrance lobby area. There was adequate storage via a large cupboard. The WiFi throughout the hotel was great except in my room where I had full signal yet couldn't connect due to my laptop and phone not being able to find a valid IP address, they would connect in the seating area mentioned earlier though so no trouble. The bed was firm and comfortable and on departure, the friendly man on the desk made some small talk and wished me well. All in all a great night sleep, only let down by the WiFi in the room not working.
