Book the room- great place to stay
Everyone was extremely welcoming. The common areas were cozy and the food was great.

Don't hesitate to stay at highline lodge
Highline lodge is not typical chain hotel, it's small (only 13 rooms) lodge, rooms are small, but clean and beds are comfortable. After 4 in the main area you have full service bar and food. Location is great, you are only 3 minutes away from the base of the Killington mountain.

Cool Atmosphere, Small Old Rooms
A friend and I stayed one night to ski Killington. We were essentially in and out (arrive 9 PM left 8 AM), but the atmosphere in the main room & bar seemed cool when we got in. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and they had some breakfast available (bagels & cereal) in the morning despite their dining room being closed for repairs. But our room was pretty small and hadn’t been updated in a while. The bathroom door didn’t have a handle that worked to hold the door closed, the ceilings were low and old, and the doors were hollow and circa 1972. It felt a little like a hostel, which is totally fine if you’re going to have a communal experience. It just wasn’t quite what I expected for $225. I would stay there again, but with different expectations.

Chic and comfortable
Love the decor and staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. I love the bar/sitting area with fireplace...very chic. My only discontent was the shower water was cooler than I would prefer...in fact, it was quite chilly. I assume maybe they were having a glitch with the water heater as they also said the hot tub was on the cooler side than usual.
