This motel is very run down
Obviously this is meant to be an "economy" motel as the name implies, but this hotel is one I would not stay at again. It's very run down - I don't think there has been any investment in the property for many years. Something that particularly bothered me is despite the room being no smoking it definitely smelled of smoke; the drop ceiling was stained yellow from a time when smoking was perhaps allowed. One bright spot is that the bed was very comfortable, perhaps new.

clean, neat, but noisy
The room was clean and neat, looked like it had recently been renovated. It was very basic amenities. However the room was next to the office and had poor sound insulation so the office noises came thru to the room. Also my reservation was not at the hotel. They accommodated me but that was a disappointment. They also advertised free wi-fi but I didn't find any open connections or any instructions. I didn't try to contact the front office as it was a bit late.

Not worth the money.
No coffee tea or water in room or lobby (except sink water - yuck). Only one little "food shack" in walking distance to buy any snacks or coffee - no "real" food. A/c right next to sink so had to turn it off or freeze while using sink. Tub was really nasty & tub mat was moldy & dirty. All furniture, towels, bed linens are old & very used. Glad we didn't have our kids with us this time. The neighborhood is a little scared.

Surprising
The facility looks a bit shabby from the outside but the units inside are ancient wood paneled and surprisingly comfortable. The a/c worked great.
