Poor 2.0
Worst value I have ever experienced.
Terrible and unprofessional service here. The staff is way too unprepared to help customers. No electricity one day and the front desk manager is addressing me in the most condescending way. Housekeeping was so, so deficient. No hot water on last day. Backpackers service at top rate price, horrible value

Not the best value for money, but great location
I booked the hotel as part of my birthday celebration and ended up having very mixed experience. My room wasn't ready on time and my check in was delayed by 1.5 hours, even though I specifically asked to make sure the room was ready on time since I had an important business call to take from the room. To compensate for the inconvenience, the hotel offered me a massage session, which was very nice. I was surprised to discover that my room was in the basement (!) with little to no sunlight or fresh air. I asked to change rooms but was told that there were none available. The staff kept telling me that I got an upgrade, when in fact, sunlight and fresh air was much more important to me than having a larger room with a Jacuzzi. On my birthday, I was brought a drink to breakfast, which was nice. As a whole, I found a lot of inconsistency between the different staff members and the level of service. Some of them were very kind and went out of their way while other gave me attitude for anything I asked for. Being in the basement, there was no elevator and the stairway was very narrow, so I asked for help with my suitcase. The attitude I got from the person at the front desk made me almost regret that I even asked. Location is hard to beat but I don't think the total of the experience justifies the value for the money. At least, not until they make a few changes.

Bad service!!
Great location- bad service!! We came in for 24hrs. Drainage in the shower of our room hardly absorbed the water. First we called the hotel service and they didn't do anything with it. Than we had to call the reception several times for squeegee. After they didn't do anything with it and didn't bring one, we had to go down specially in the middle of the night to the reception to bring one as they didn't answer the phone. Bottom line - except for the night, most of our time in the hotel we had to deal with the drainage of our shower while the staff neglected the problem.

Loved the hotel. Wish the bar was open. Was disappointed that it was closed for the duration of my stay as that is a hotel highlight.

Nice hotel one block off the beach
The hotel is very nice, and I splurged for the room with the balcony. Unfortunately, though, there is all kinds of construction going on in front of the hotel, so there's a very limited view of the sea. But, the balcony was still nice as the weather was perfect. The breakfast is FANTASTIC, and so worth the value to include it in the price of your room. Free Cava and coffee in the lobby are also a nice touch. The hotel bar was weird. We read in the room that there was happy hour starting at 18:00. We headed down at 19:00 for a drink before heading out for dinner and they were still setting up. The bartender assured us they were open, but then didn't wait on us. We tried again later on, and it indeed was functioning, but the service was off and the clientele seemed very strange (not hotel guests). But, the outdoor space there is nice, probably just an off night.
