GREAT STAFF. Hotel for really adult people
Charlie, Bilmary, Alexander and Gregory was great. Very good quality in the room, but 2 gigants tv without smart service. This is a luxury hotel but FOR REALLY ADULT PEOPLE. If you’re a young, im sure you can find better options with less price. Theres no beach, nothing. Chic Cabaret Rest was unavailable.

Great retreat by the sea!
Beautiful hotel in Cap Cana. We stayed in a swim-up room and it was the perfect setting for a relaxing week. The construction and decorations are modern, rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. You get assigned a butler at the beginning of your stay who takes care of anything you need in your room, makes dinner reservations for you and sends you the daily activity schedule. Shout out to Danny, who was our butler and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The Aurum bar at the lobby was the best bar. Joanna, the bartender will be happy to make you whatever cocktail you want to make up, or she will make something up for you based on what you like; she is a true mixologist and a gem in this hotel. Also a shout out to Jennifer, the cocktail waitress who always made sure our glass was full!

Do not stay here
ADVICE TO YOU: DO NOT STAY HERE Another guest suggested that this hotel is probably buying their reviews. We thought this was nuts until I learned staff WERE coercing or guilting guests into leaving 5/5 reviews. They use it as a way to bonus staff, and some people deserve it, but the hotel is NOT 5/5. I rely on truthful reviews to make informed decisions. I would give this hotel 3/5 but dropping to 2/5 given the lack of integrity and to balance out fake reviews. Overall staff are friendly but seem overwhelmed, lost or confused. This place is not a real 5 star resort (Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Waldorf, etc…). We have stayed at other TRS but we learned Palladium spun off the TRS brand which explains the nose dive in quality. Sheets in our room were ripped&stained, prior food items left behind, cracked sink, damaged walls, hair everywhere and it smelled like sewage. See photos. We asked to change rooms and staff agreed to this. We received 4 bottles of rum to our room over different days. This is a standard amenity for TRS. Our friends asked for 1 but their butler said this wasn’t allowed and encouraged them to leave a bad review as the property was under new management. The food quality at the breakfast buffet was terrible. A la carte options were better. The service at every restaurant was painfully slow. After 30-40min we had to flag people down to take our order, bring drinks, refill water, etc...

Total Ripoff - Poor Customer Service
Got notified by Southwest at 1 am the day before our departure to Punta Cana. Made several attempts to book another flight, to no avail. Made several attempts to speak with the hotel to try and reschedule and finally received an email to work to Hotels.com. Never spoke to a human being one time. Forced to used email and chat. Ultimately told no refund would be granted. So they just pocketed $3,697 and offered no chance to rebook or even a partial refund. Both Hotels.com and TRS Cap Cana Waterfront & Marina Hotel may have made easy money on me, but definitely cost themselves much more business, not knowing how vast of a network I have that uses Hotels.com. But, that’s going to change…

Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub zum Entspannen sucht, ist hier falsch! Lärmige Rock-Pop-Beschallung am Pool, Bauarbeiten, darunter Presslufthammer, elektrische Rasensensen, Laubbläser waren ärgerlich. Der “Hotelbeach”, ca. 20 m lang, war zum Baden ungeeignet (Bauarbeiten, dicker Algenteppich). Ein Hotelshuttle fuhr zweimal täglich einen öffentl. Strand an, der leider auch nicht sehr einladend war, Algenteppich und permanenter Traktorlärm der Räumfahrzeuge. Wem die Lautstärke der Umgebung nichts ausmacht, und der hauptsächlich Wert auf Poolbar und freie Cocktails legt, ist gut versorgt. Positiv: sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, geräumige Suiten/Zimmer, großes Frühstücksbüffet. Zwei Restaurants bieten Mittags und Abends á la carte-Menüs an. Die Küche ist durchaus gut, wenn auch redundant.
