A blast from the past.
If you are looking for nostalgia this hotel takes you right back to the 50's. It was great and we really enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a touristy old time place and the El Colorado certainly provided it. We will stay here again when we come to Manitou Springs.

our vacay
enjoyed very much. spacious, awesome beds. the shower could use help and the water kept getting cold. unfortunately the fireplace was out of order which was one main reason we chose this place.
other than that we would stay there again.

Good location. Close to lots of local activities. But rooms are older and outdated. Check-in is outdated. Booked room through Expedia, but front desk did not have it!

Manitou stay
This place is fine if you don't need any modern conveniences. Place would be so much better with some upgrades.We stayed in a cabin that was directly across from the lobby and could not get any WiFi. We literally had to sit in a chair in front of the lobby to get any WiFi. Our cabin was a two bedroom with a kitchen in between the rooms. There was only one air conditioning unit in one bedroom. That room had to stay a little colder than the other room since the cooled air had to travel through the kitchen to get to the other room. On the plus, it is close to everything. This place has so much potential if it had some small upgrades.
