We spent 4 nights in a very comfortable quiet condo on the ground floor which opened up to a private shaded forest setting.

hotel good, stinks
The Aspens was fine. But very unhappy with I picked one of two suites available, said room 214, and that I could do in didirectly at the venue. But when we got there a very rude desk employee announced I had to drive some place else, and kept saying I booked with a third party. Had to drive elsewhere. The desk people at Blackcomb Lodge were very nice and explained how different parts of properties were managed by different companies. I had never experienced this. Went back to Aspens with check in info, only to get rude Jordan again. It was like pulling teeth to get any info from him. No info was volunteered, had to ask where to park, managed of course, by yet another company, has to ask how to get to room, and was told, "take an elevator"' had to ask where they were, nothing about him was friendly or helpful. I was new, I had no idea where things were. It was awful dealing with him. One the other hand, the folks at the Blackcomb Lodge, who I called to let them know there were some minor cracks in the tile, I didn't want them to think we did, were great! So helpful and nice. Wish they were at the venue. Not at all happy with Thought I paid for one thing and once we got there found out they had changed everything I had so carefully chosen. I will never book through them again. What a nightmare, when it should have been so easy.

Not impressed.
The couch was really old and stained. Which made it very uncomfortable to sit or sleep on. The ice cube trays were old and the ice cubes were dirty. Uncomfortable beds. The front lady on staff was rude and was moody to the fact we didn’t check in, in the village. Very unhelpful.
