Cute rooms, great views, IN the city!
The Guesthouse was perfect for a few days in the city. Orvar the host is ABSOLUTELY lovely and such a gem. The room was comfy and warm, and so close to the harbor and everything was walking distance in the city. The restaurant downstairs was phenomenal. Really great to stay here!

Good Price, location and room quality but noisy
Price, location and room quality were good. However, the room was not serviced and it was very very noisy during our stay, Hard to sleep through the weekend specially. Slow wifi.

Great location, clean, comfortable. But, we could hear a bar fight early in the morning.

Friendly, Central, and Worth It
After traveling around the Ring Road, my friend and I decided to stay in Reykjavik for a couple of nights before heading home. Centric was a great place to lay our head. It was not only located a short walk from the main shopping area and numerous restaurants, but also close to tourist-related activities. The room (Double w/ private bathroom) was larger than any I've ever had in Europe, and you could easily close the blinds to minimize the midnight sun. This might not be a fully serviced hotel on par with major chains (if you're expecting that), but the service you receive from the owners is top-notch. Orvar was so very friendly and accommodating. He even helped schedule (and reschedule) our flybus when the company failed to pick up. I highly recommend staying here and would do so again if I make it back to Iceland.
