Awesome Room and Excellent Services
We spent 12 nights in the One Bedroom Apartment located at 27/F. Awesome view with a mixture of city view and a bit of harbour view. The room is as shown in their marketing photo (some places look nice on photo but could be small in real). Generous room size, both Bedroom and Sitting Room are spacious (in Hong Kong apartment standard). Having a washing machine in the room is a massive plus for a longer stay. There is nothing I can pick on for this room, it is good size, plenty of storage and I am satisfied with the housekeeping and hygiene. Location is awesome, you have multiple public transport options around, 5mins walk from MTR, 1-2mins from bus stop and tram stations. Instead of fancy chain eateries and shops, you get a taste of very local residential area with lots of local food/shop options. But just a park apart, you can get to a major shopping area Causeway Bay in 5mins on foot. I’d like to make a special note to thanks Sandra at Front Desk for your help on the Check In and Check Out process. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than standard check in time, Sandra has been very helpful and arranged an early check in for us. That is very helpful especially when you desperately needed a shower after a long journey! Thanks Sandra =) And I loved being greeted by the cheerful face every day when I walked pass the reception desk, also thanks for the info about the local area too~ It has been a very pleasant experience and I surely will stay here again.

Great staff willing to help
I didn't have high expectations, and presumed this hotel would be run of the mill standard. However, after booking in and entering my room, the small, but well proportioned room had everything that I would need. A small kitchenette was a plus (and a microwave was supplied). The bathroom was decent and shower was a good size. The only thing about the room was that the wardrobe doors appeared stuck. In the room they supplied a free handset that you could use to surf the net and take out with you for maps - very handy and not expected...usually this is a feature of the better hotels in HK. Unfortunately I didn't have time to use it as I was literally there overnight and didn't have time to explore HK with the device. Also, it turns out they had negotiated free access to the nearby gym...again I didn't have time to use the pass, but what a great bonus! The front desk staff were very helpful, and a 3 min walk on the same street you can get the airport express shuttle bus that takes you to HK station for onward train to the airport. The bad thing is that it's next door to some sort of waste treatment site. No major effect unless you happen to be hanging around the outside of the hotel.

Location is great, but the room is just fair
The air condition is noisy, even adjust to "low" wind speed, it is not being controlled and turn "low". Found the left behind shopping bag, one time use chopstick (believed from previous customer) in the cabinet. The towel for putting on the bedroom floor is dirty (with the black dirt on it). Only one small and two big towels are offered in bedroom (still available for more upon request). One of the towel with broken edge. Need to wait for at least 5 mins for the real hot water ready for shower(with keeping the water running and really feel bad of wasting water). The pillows are really soft and not good as support. Noise isolation is good. Location is good, with great restaurant and transportation around. If you want a quick stay with low budget and require the chain hotel located in down town, this can be your last minute choice. If not, I won't choose to stay again.

Bang for your buck
Overall, the hotel was awesome. We checked in at the hotel on a Saturday afternoon. With total of two rooms booked, we got #1803 and 1903. The hotel is very secured which requires valid room keys to activate the elevators. Front desk is helpful and attentive to our requests and questions- adapter, airport shuttle, taxi, etc. They sell airport express tickets for HK$90 per person, but they suggested us to buy at the Hong Kong station counter for average of HK$70 per person since we are a party of 4. The rooms are quite spacious compared to the other hotels in this price range (e.g., butterfly on Victoria/ butterfly on Hollywood). Our room came with a handy phone which can be used as a pocket wifi for internet tethering. The battery life on the handy phone is good, which we had no problem of getting through our days without charging it. The hotel is located in a mixed residential commercial area- not much shopping but lots of great food. Very close to the MTR tin hau station. From HKG, you can reach the hotel by the standard airport express-MTR, taxi (~HK$465), or airport express city bus (~HK$21-51; route A11 or E11).

Quite disappointed this time
I stayed here 4 years ago, but seems not much has been maintained since. Stayed 6 nights. Room smelt of stale smoke on my arrival, and at times could smell smoke in the hallway outside even though it's a non-smoking hotel. Carpet old, towels old and frayed, ripped on edges. Air-conditioning was terrible, fluctuating between extreme cold and heat 24 hours a day - we woke up many times every night from sweating or freezing. No local Chinese channels available. These points led to a 3-star rating, but was dropped to 2-stars as I returned one day to find my brand new full white shoes stained with milk tea (the cleaners must've spilt the near empty cups in the bin), and while the hotel is great to book us a jumbo taxi to HK city check-in, the price was a steep hk$160 (I understand it's our choice to pay that price, but jumbos are very hard to catch on street). All in all, quite disappointed and will need to find another place for upcoming visits.
