I love this place, and the well worn charm and history of it. The kids love the pool and I love the views. Not the most modern, but a true classic and a gem for the nostalgics and the romantics!

Quiet. Excellent view. Very good breakfast. Excellent (table d'hôte only) dinners (we had venison one night and pepper steak the next). No lifts. As pensioners, being faced with carting bags up and down two flights of stairs was challenging. The hotel is tightly manned so (immediate) assistance would have been out of the question.
