Strategic Location near Yau Ma Tei Station Exit C
M1 Yau Ma Tei is very centrally located, you can walk to Kowloon Area where the sneakers shop - ladies market and also temple street market is located. Lots of food nearby and definitely lots of shopping which HK is famous for. To get there you simply take the Yau Ma Tei Station MTR and go for exit C, The hotel is right around the corner. All said on the location- the room itself is quite small but still ok. the one thing I wasnt happy is the bed. It was very hard to sleep on. which is not comfortable. other than that, everything else was good.

Great for a short stay
This depends on your needs. We were traveling as a family (along with our 2-yr-old daughter) and we were processed into the hotel promptly, which was appreciated. The cool air wasn't fully on when we walked in the room, so we had to turn it on higher (no big deal). The bed was firm, but smaller than a standard full-size. It was clean. It was close to the MTR. It offered local newspapers. It's great for a short-term stay. It included a few toiletries and had a small refrigerator. There was NO WI-FI in the rooms. Instead each room had installed a cell-phone that you can use. We also couldn't figure out the safe. All in all, however, this place was just fine for us for the short time we were there. .

Nice, compact hotel.
Well run and well kept hotel with a friendly and efficient staff. The room was unexpectedly small, I feel that the hotels.com website made the rooms look larger. While the hotel's wifi was slow, there is a "Handy mobile device" which one is able to use as a wifi hotspot in the room, and out and about in Hong Kong. The room was clean, and well serviced daily. The front desk staff was helpful with any questions.
