Hotel nice- Restaurant okay
The "Worm" was very nice. Room was large and clean and nicely furnished. The restaurant was pleasant but nothing special. The food was good bu not remarkable. Previous reviews sounded like they were expecting gourmet experience. They would do well to adjust their expectations. Still, it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a great location for Beanish. The staff were friendly and helpful. The family room was a decent size and clean, and the meals were excellent. We would stay again.

Stay clear of crystal room
Overall the hotel was lovely, and the rooms very nice, however I was in the room called Crystal room which was over the kitchen and next to the boiler room so I didn't get a wink of sleep all night with the constant noise from these places. There was no management there in the morning to complain too just the breakfast staff. I may have had a better experience with a different room. Just avoid this room when booking

Night at the Lambton worm.
Was here to spend the night after a wedding at Lumbley castle. The hotel was in a fantastic area and it was very clean with great service. I was hoping to have a very comfortable sleep after a late wedding party but the bed was very lumpy and there was a loud machine noise for much of the night. I must of got the bad room as my family were pleased with their night sleep in theirs.
