Pacific Heights Inn, San Francisco
Nothing to complain about. You get what you pay for here, we had a quiet, clean, comfortable room with no issues. It's not a 5 star hotel, but for the price definitely a good option

Nice but no AC
The hotel was cute and well maintained. The service was great and you could tell the owners took pride in it. We did not realize there was no AC. We opened the windows for a breeze but the back window had no screen. That’s was disappointing on the comfort end. Otherwise it was nice.

This Place is an Affordable Treasure
I can't say enough good things about Pacific Heights Inn. The owners were so friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our vehicle for a few extra hours on the day we checked out so we could walk down to Fisherman's Wharf without paying the astronomical fees down there. The room was very clean, and the hotel itself was lovely with flowers planted near every room in planter boxes. The room is a little small, but the bed was comfortable and you can't beat the price in that area. The continental breakfast the next day was fresh and generous - croissants, orange juice, great muffins. I highly recommend this hotel and we will certainly stay again.

Excellent staff!
A little outdated, but the staff was phenomenal and was willing to work with us when our flight was canceled last minute. Free off street parking is a HUGE perk! All in all a good experience

2nd smallest 'Queen room' of 31 hotels stayed at
We stayed 5 nights - our room (# 33) was one of the smallest 'Queen rooms' in our 3 month USA trip (we stayed in 31 hotels !!) ... we couldn't move around without bumping into each other - had to store 1 of our 2 suitcases under the table which made things a bit bothersome. Older hotel but very clean & the queen bed was comfy. The shower while small had great pressure. Alex at reception was very friendly & knowledgeable about the area. Without disturbing the guests, lots of people doing daily/regular maintenance & cleaning ...these guys were also friendly. Breakfast was the usual 'scant continental fare' - Madeira Cake, Blueberry muffins, Croissants, Coffee & O.J. Location was perfect lots of eateries on Union St., Convenience stores across the street & Petrol station near by. Despite the "very cosy room" we enjoyed our 5 night stay.
