Ansonborough Inn, Charleston
Best Charleston hotel ever!
Visited Charleston a dozen times and have always stayed downtown in nice places, but this was the best! Location is perfect. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. Liked having the convenient self parking right across the street where we could easily access our car without waiting on valet. A charming hotel with interesting history.

Great in all respects.
The hotel was great. Room was nice and updated. Air conditioning worked perfectly. It was so hot outside when we arrived. Our thermostat was mistakenly set to 62. It was cool but much appreciated. We set it correctly and the temperature was fine the rest of the trip. This was a perfectly situated hotel in a very safe area. Will definitely be back.

Very Good8.0
Stayed years ago, still nice, but going down
The Hotel has status and charm, though it has run down since it’s renovation, older furniture can be kept better. Cleaning was done quite well on the usage areas, though mold on window frames, and muffy smell is clearly a greater clean needing! Breakfast was a simple continental as in a holiday inn... should have had more details and a good coffee service. All in all a nice building, good location, quiet, large rooms, though needs management improvement to make it glorious again!

Lovely hotel with great helpful friendly staff.
Beautiful hotel with outstanding service. Natural wood throughout, warm and friendly, not your normal "cookie cutter" type accommodations. If had to find a fault, would just recommend not getting a room next to street to avoid road noise. However, would not hesitate to go there again.

The bathroom plumbing did not drain well. Our room was on the street with a glass door to the sidewalk and inches from traffic so loud. Next door was the conference center two steps away, also loud. The staff were exceptional and the location is accessible the good stuff. Don't book 114
