Stay over Memorial Day
Staff at the desk was great, we were in the building on the beach with a great view (and lots of dogs!), motel style accommodations so we could hear foot traffic and conversations outside our entry door as folks came through in the morning or evening, something to be expected given the accommodation type, our only significant complaint/observation was fact that the room had a musty smell and when we first arrived the carpet was still moist from what I assume was a shampoo before we got there (did I mention the dogs...we assumed they shampoo or steam the carpets after guests with dogs check out...or maybe after a dog accident?). Location is close enough to the action to walk to anything on Commercial Ave, but secluded enough to have some quiet time. We looked at but did not take them up on the free breakfast (bagels, waffles, scrambled eggs, etc. all buffet style, I’m sure it was fine, we just wanted something a little different). They do have a liquor license & bar service (important for some), the fire pit was very inviting, too cold for the pool on our visit. If we stayed again I might request a room on the top floor to minimize foot traffic noise.

Great Stay, Great Staff & Great Stuff Offered
Hotel staff was great to deal with!!! no complaints at all regarding all aspects of the stay. In my opinion, the only minor complaint anyone could have would be it's about 3/4 of a mile walk to get to the heart of Commercial St but it is a very nice walk and you can drive/park at a few different lots if that's the way you want to go

Bay view, fridge and microwave are
Loved the view. Night shift was nice and more attentive than morning (literally night and day). They have two buildings; one suites and across the street an older building with Bay views. The Bay view was great. The room had awful insulation and we heard all the heavy stomping above us. Across the street is pool and outdoor fire pit. That was cool (or hot), but chairs were hard. Location was great. I'd recommend, but they could put a bit more into inviting atmosphere and fixing sound proof issues.
