    Christmas Bonus
Stayed there during the holidays because it's close to my family's home. Owners/staff are wonderful and the Hayride on the 23rd was a huge bonus. I brought the whole family. The staff was very helpful when I needed anything

Warmth and charm with a quirky personality :)
If you have a passion for the authentic and genuine, and love the outdoors, Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort in Colorado Springs will not disappoint. From check-in to departure we experienced top-notch customer service from the owners, Torie and Nathan, and their friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Buffalo Lodge is a family-owned vintage hotel/lodge and adobe-style motor court. Since purchasing the property in 2016, the Giffins and their staff have been working hard to renovate each of the 46 cottages and improve the grounds. If you haven’t visited their website, www.bicycleresort.com and/or their Youtube channel you can learn more about their story and get a feel for what your visit will be like. We enjoyed being able to stay in a renovated room with a cool outdoors theme and thoughtful details; we also stayed in one of the suites in the process of being updated. Both rooms were comfortable and homey, but if you are looking for more upscale décor try to book one of their updated cottages. The Lodge is in a prime location, has great character, a stone fireplace at one end, a cute bar along one wall, and was decorated with art from a recent bicycle art show hosted by the lodge. There is ample comfortable furniture, which during inclement weather is moved aside to host their weekly Yoga and Brews – awesome fun! They also host daily Happy Hour, weekly rides, and musical events. We truly enjoyed our stay with the Giffins and their staff!

    Round two
The place used to offer coffee in the morning. The soda machine is out of service. NICE people make up for the deteriorating conditions of rooms. The place offers alcohol to excess, but no smoking.

    Good vintage motel
This was just what i expected and what I was looking for: an inexpensive, clean motel in Manitou Springs. It's an old place and if you are looking for sparkling white walls and room service go somewhere else. Comfortable bed, clean room, big screen TV. There are also the smells and creeks and groans you would expect from a vintage motel. It's as advertised and just fine for what it is.
