    Beautiful tourist trap
The guest house is beautiful, but they get you with their tax, food & souvenirs! A small bag of popcorn in the gift shop is $9! They have most of the same souvenirs in local gift shops and the Elvis birthplace in Tupelo for half the price. The Breakfast buffet is $22 and it’s the exact food that other hotels include in your stay. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful, the furnishings and the decor are amazing. Most of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, a few of the people working in the restaurants and lounge acted like they didn’t want to be there. My suggestion is to stay here if you’re an Elvis fan & want to tour Graceland but don’t eat or buy souvenirs here. The free wine and cheese at the managers reception every evening is a nice touch & the peanut butter station at 10 pm every night was fun. We only did this once because the line was so long it took 30 minutes to get through. The only complaint about my room is that there wasn’t a towel rack to hang towels on & the hand towel rack was broken/missing. The mattresses are very firm, so if you like soft mattress be aware. The pool was nice but only 3 feet deep. We didn’t sit in the hot tub but people seemed to enjoy it. I had a teenager with me & we wanted to play ping pong, but the paddles and net were broken and the ball had a dent in it. We decided to play corn hole instead but the bean bags were ripped/empty. The $10 Beale shuttle service was nice. Overall it was fun, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

    Shake, rattle and roll!
The building is beautiful and the decor really captures the ambiance and era of Elvis at the height of his powers. The employees were helpful and prompt. There was breakfast available in the restaurant but no continental option. Paying for parking here seems like overkill, should be free to park. Overall a fun place to stay, but not necessarily the most practical.

    Nice and clean
It was good but a little expensive. Even for the shuttle to downtown you had to pay. On top of that a lot of taxes were to be paid. But apart from that it is a nice hotel, good service and a Nice pool. A short walk to graceland.

Visited Shiloh Battlefield, Buford Pusser's Museum, recorded at Sun Studios, Performed at St Jude's & spent alot of time at Graceland!!! Everything at The Guest House was superb. Good 6.0
    Nice property, managed poorly
This is a relatively new property, and it's been designed and decorated with some really nice touches. That said, the best property in the world is only as good as who staffs it, and in that respect, I give this property a failing grade, which is a shame. Most of my rating comes from housekeeping.....or lack of. I stayed at the hotel for 3 days and, aside from the day I arrived, my room was not cleaned once. You read that right. No housekeeping service came to the room for two days straight, even after I complained after the first day. Hard to believe, right? Yet it's true. Also know that outside of Graceland, which is literally across the street (and has an ownership stake in this hotel), the surrounding neighborhood is sketchy and dangerous day or night. Also know that if you order a glass of house wine at the lobby bar it will cost you $20, which is an exorbitant price in a top-5 city, yet alone in Memphis. The newness of this place will only carry it for so long. Then, the lack of attention to upkeep, it is sure to degrade. It's pretty clear that current management is not on their game.
