Pleasent stay but service could be better
Stayed two nights and it was an overall good experience. Loved the location, even though it was a five minute walk to the beach area, with the benefit being it was quiet at night. We had an early morning arrival, and the receptionist would not allow us to check in until 2 pm, even though it was quite apparent rooms were available. They asked if we wanted a 1 bedroom unit, even though we had booked 2 rooms for 4 people, but at least the didn't put up a fight when I pointed it out on my confirmation print out. Lots of room in the 2 bedroom unit, generally clean, and the air conditioning was strong (1 in each bedroom plus a larger unit in the family room). Lack of hot water for showers and dishes, which I find is pretty standard in the Philippines. Free breakfast was better than average, and most of the staff was helpful and friendly. They required a $2,000 peso damage deposit, encouraged cash, and then failed to return it to me during checkout which I forgot to ask for in the rush. Called and they said they would credit it to my credit card - will see. WIFI was stronger than average.

Good but disappointing as well
Booking through hotels.com and required to send my confirmation email to front desk before checking me in? 2 pm check in and arrived after 2 and still waited 40 minutes for room. Nothing inside mini bar

Very nice but a little uneven
The hotel is located just off the "main drag" near White beach in Boracay. It's very clean and quite modern, but there is construction going on more or less continuously, in fact, there were guys working right outside our room for the entire time we were there. Thankfully they did not work at night. We rented a suite and frankly, it was beautiful...full kitchen, nice bathroom, and a separate bedroom with it's own air conditioner, so we were able to keep the living area at one temperature and the bedroom cooler for snuggling. nice setup. The room attendant would often surprise us with things like notes telling us to have a good day, or arranging towels on the bed to form swans, nose to nose, like a heart. The extra effort was appreciated. The entire staff was courteous, friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. Now for the things that were a little off: The breakfast, which was included. They had a wide variety of food and it seemed to have been well prepared, but they don't keep it warm. Seriously. Every day it was the same thing: Cold eggs, cold sausage, cold beef tapas, cold fish, cold rice. After 3 days of that I gave up and just had cold cereal. Let's talk about the rooftop pool...there are actually four different pools and if you use them in the morning they are refreshing and comfortable. However, unlike the breakfast, things heat up a bit later in the day and by evening even the main pool is actually uncomfortably hot, like a bath.
