Staff was incredibly helpful. Room was cleaned every time I left. Welcome ice cream and drink on arrival and cookies on departure. Great location. Easy to walk to all sights in Luang Prabang. Enjoyed use of pool at sister hotel.
Extraordinary service from the staff, who spoke great English. Fascinating architectural details in the old building. They turn on the AC before you arrive, a nice touch in the Summer heat.
Overall amazing. Was upgraded to a deluxe room. Rom decor was great - sustainable, use a lot of local crafts. Location is super great... easy walk to night market, Mekong River, temples and most attractions. All the people in the hotel were very service oriented and made my stay very welcomed and nice. All Went the extra mile to make my stay comfortabke and well fed. I would stay in the hotel again.
Staff is nice & very friendly Good location because in Downtown
The hotel was classic and old school yet comfortable and warm made me feel like home. The location is very convenient to walk around. It’s right on the main road but once you in the hotel you can’t really hear anything from the street. If I were coming back I would stay at this hotel again. The staff are super nice and be able to recognize all the guests. But one downside before we left. We went over to the Sofitel to use the swimming pool we experienced an unusual rudeness. These people are the hotel manager’s guest. They are at their 20’s. My family were using the pool and my mom was sitting on a pool bench/bed under the canopy and we have our clothes and towels on the bed. So this group was taking a photo with so many post which was loud to disturb all the guests by the pool how do I know? Because everyone we’re looking at them. But that isn’t enough. Two of the photographers tried to find a great spot to take a picture of their friend so they came over to the area that we were sitting and has the audacity to sit on our bed/bench right next to my mom and on ours towels. My mother was giving them a look but that wouldn’t do anything to these clueless. If they were asking I wouldn’t say anything but they didn’t even bother to ask or even look. I mean yeah I got it you are the hotel manager’s guest but that kind of behavior was such a uneducated. Anyway this issue isn’t the issue you would meet every time we just got a bad luck. The overall hotel and staff were excellent.
Staff were very caring and attentive. Convenient location. On-site restaurant and bar.
When we first arrived we were assigned a room on the ground floor (the hotel is split across 2 buildings & we were not housed in the one in all the pictures but across the road) the room layout was strange & felt stuffy - accessed through the gift shop & although it had a terrace/patio it was only split from the restaurant by a thin screen so felt like we were in the restaurant). On check-in the host told us that if it was noisy she implied that we could move to the sister hotel (Sofitel about 1.5km away) if we weren’t happy. The next day we asked to move rooms & did so once other guests had vacated. Our room was now upstairs which felt better but still had small issues. The buildings are old, mainly constructed with wood & protected from permanent modifications which we understand but some features seemed impractical & in general we didn’t feel very comfortable. difficult thing to articulate as it was more an amalgamation of factors. Staff appeared to be polite/aimed to please but at the same time were inconsistent-didn’t greet us when we returned fdespite walking straight past them & they’re not given training for if someone strays from the expected answers. We spent quite a lot of money to stay at this hotel compared to other places in the area plus booked tours & felt that we expected more from our stay. Would not return or recommend.
The hotel was in the historic part of town, near to the Main Street / riverside restaurants and art/craft shopping. We loved the location and also the serenity of the area. 3 Nagas staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had used the gym & spa facilities if the sister hotel (Sofitel), and that made the facilities at 3 Nagas complete with all the conveniences in the historic town. If I returned to Luang Prabang for another visit, I would definitely stay at 3 Nagas.
It’s very nice staffs and also best location to stay for relaxing
The staff was excellent. The room was clean. The floor was squeaky. The street noise was noticeable.
