The hotel was very good. Unfortunately it was quite cold and there was no heating and unfortunately I think the regular cleaner was away and therefore the first couple of days the cleaning left a bit to be desired but thereafter it was excellent

Great Hotel by the lake
Very friendly hotel not far from the lake. The hotel was upgraded a couple of years ago. Staff are great as was the Continental breakfast. There is a bar which offers snacks till about 2200. Rooms with en -suite shower etc.

Comfortable weekend getaway in Banyoles
Excellent Banyoles location right off the lake. Hotel had a good breakfast (included with stay) and the restaurant also seemed popular with locals. Rooms were tidy and beds decent. Hotel conditions / amenities a bit dated but perfectly comfortable. A fine choice to enjoy the Banyoles area and lake.

Small hotel, very small rooms, friendly staff
Hotel L'Ast is a short walk to the lake and a slightly older one into the town centre. Hotel is small, recently refurbished. Rooms have no air con and are very small. Staff were very friendly and all spoke English well. Breakfast was the best I had in Spain and the bar was a very pleasant place to stop when returning to the hotel.

Refurbished Banyoles Hotel
This hotel has gone through a refurbishment recently and much improved. The bathrooms are the same, the bath shower is poor but functions. There is now a bistro available for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was continental. New owners and staff very friendly. Well done.
