Absolutely wonderful stay!
Absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel is the best mix of traditional Japanese with contemporary modern facilities. The breakfasts and dinners are amazing and are such a huge part of the entire experience. The staff are extremely accommodating in every way possible; we especially appreciated their accommodating my mother's dietary restrictions. The private baths on the roof are also a must. We are already planning our next trip here!

Enjoyable solitude and contemplating life in style
The hotel is located in the historical part of the island which is away from the major touristy (shopping) hotspots. So a single traveller like me who wanted to get away from the hectic buzz it's perfect. Staff is very attentive and have made sure each guests feeling welcome and taken care of. I stayed for 3nights and every meal (dinner and breakfast) were of Michelin star standards and most amazingly, different- not a single course was repeated! The open air bath was also something different and very enjoyable at night with mild sea breezes. A few places which look exactly like the photos on the brochures and this is one of them. I'd definitely come back and bring my parents along.

Unique experience
The stay and the experience was fantastic. Absolutely unique and uniquely Japanese. The room itself was good although it was no better than other top resorts around world. The distinguishing factor is really the whole experience and the whole package - from the view, to the Japanese personalised service, to the fact that there are only 15 rooms and a lot of space for the 15 room occupants and the design with privacy in mInd, to the spectacular open bath experience to the meals. The whole experience was awesome and worth the expensive price tag it comes with. Stayed at the Terrace Club at Busena and that was a different (and cheaper) experience and also highly recommended. Worthy try and its globally recognized travel awards.

You won't want to leave
From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out everything about this place was professional and luxury. It is one of the world's greatest luxury hotels and you can tell why. Room with an ocean view, and a bathroom with glass walls. Roof top open air baths, and immaculate service you would only expect from the Japanese. A well run, high quality hotel in an amazing part of the world. Also with amazing local Okinawan food prepared professionally with amazing service.
