Nice hotel
Close to a metro stop, cafe, bakery and Champs Elysees. Nice sized lift for those who overpack like myself!

Nice Parisian Closet in a Fantastic location!
I get it. Paris hotel rooms are small. I’ve visited several times and paying extra for a large room with a private bathroom still equates to a slightly larger than closet/bathroom size room. We couldn’t unpack; it didn’t make sense since there was no room to store our luggage. There was no temperature control from our room until April 1st!!! This was not disclosed. The alley below our window was loud, but if you want air circulation you have to go with it. Since we asked for the heat to be shut off from the front desk they shut off our hot water and wanted us to wait until 9am for maintenance. This is NOT a five-star establishment. They called my room four times in 30 minutes, because they couldn’t remember which room ordered room service...and it wasn’t us. This room was on the pricier side, but it’s Paris and I wanted a nice room and good service! The staff was kind and for Parisian standards it was four star. In the U.S. it would be average. The location was fantastic and the surrounding area was beautiful. I might stay again, but would shop for a better price. Also, the pictures aren’t as accurate as they should be. We booked an upgraded room with a view and the pictures appear to have typical French doors. Our room had one window that opened and the view was of the dumpsters and alleys below. The bed was comfy and the linens were nice. If this was in America it would be a Comfort Inn or 3 Star establishment, but from experience this is a Nice Paris Hotel!

Nice hotel
Nice hotel, 2 blocks away from Champs Elysee, but rooms are small. We reserved a basic room, and it was extremely small with tiny window on the side. Staff was understanding, but a normal room with a window was 25 euros extra per night. I would go back again. Walking distance to Arc de Triumphe-10 min, Eiffel tower is 25 min away.

Great Location, Worst Mattress... EVER
Le Marianne was a great hotel for location and design, BUT the mattress quality and comfort of the bed was horrendous. We came from Amsterdam and were exhausted, but before we could crawl into our king bed, which was two twins pushed together, I had to walk down to reception to request as many blankets and duvets as possible to layer on top of the ridiculously stiff mattresses. Let it be known, I am not a light sleeper and can fall asleep anywhere, including the floor, and not wake up once. I’ve slept on air mattresses that felt like heaven compared to this mattress. The mattress felt like it came from a RV/camper. Room was very small, but didn’t take away from the chic and aesthetically pleasing decor. Bathroom was a great size. We’ve been to Paris quite a few times now and stayed lots of places, but the staff here didn’t seem eager to please, or made very little effort to do so, and I speak French! Lastly, because the location was so good and close to bars, we were woken up each night between 3-4 am to rowdy crowds, drunkenly stumbling back to their cars. Again, loved the location, but until the mattresses are replaced, not sure I would come back again... =\
