Perfect location for a stay in Buenos Aires, right in the center of the historic neighborhood of San Telmo and just blocks away from Casa Rosada, Obelisco and Puerto Madero. It is not a luxury hotel, so if you are expecting that this is not the place for you. It has however a wonderful, quiet environment, cozy and welcoming, and a very helpful staff. The rooms are what you expect from a building that is old and semi falling apart, but the beds are comfortable, always clean and the same with the bathroom. In short, - Great location - Safe neighborhood - Great Prices - Includes Wifi and breakfast - Great staff - Rooms 3 out of 5 - Beds 5 out of 5 This is a great place to stay if you are mostly interested in wondering around town, and for the price it can't be beaten. I would definitely stay here again.

Basic hotel in good San telmo location
Easy checkin, super helpful staff always available to help with transit, finding where you're going etc. Rooms are basic but clean. No street noise. Can hear lots of noise from doors banging etc as old building. Sometimes lots of people (other clients) making lots of noise late at night) which was a nuisance) but would eventually quiet down-then extremely tranquil quiet place!

Passei 6 noites no Hotel Bolívar e num próximo retorno a Buenos Aires penso em escolhê-lo novamente para minha hospedagem. O pessoal da recepção foi muito simpático e prestativo, especialmente o Juan que o tempo todo se mostrou muito atencioso e gentil. A localização também considerei excelente, no coração do charmoso bairro de San Telmo, e com acesso muito fácil aos principais pontos turísticos - seja por transporte público ou mesmo a pé. O quarto em que me hospedei (com banheiro privativo), apesar de demandar pequenos reparos no revestimento das paredes, era bem espaçoso e confortável. Já o café da manhã, bem simples, era saboroso e como sugestão deixaria a inclusão de alguma fruta para aumentar as opções. Quanto à limpeza e arrumação do quarto, não era feita todos os dias, mas isto não me causou nenhum tipo de incômodo. Por fim, ressaltaria o wifi como um ponto que precisa ser bastante melhorado, pois o sinal quase sempre estava fraco no interior do quarto ou mesmo nos outros espaços do hotel. No mais, como disse anteriormente, repetiria a experiência. A todos da recepção, saludos desde Brasil!
