    Loved it!
This hotel is extremely adorable! I wish we could have stayed longer. Quaintly small with great ammenities. The front desk girl at check in was extremely sweet.

    Needs improvement
Porch lamp burned out and as i arrived very late to one of the out lying chalets, i couldnt see. No place to park car near out lying units, gravel walkways too difficult to pull wheeled suitcases, steps involved leading to chalets causing hardship on wheeled suitcases, no handicapped entry doors into lobby.

Beautiful place! We stayed on a whim about a month ago, then spent the rest of the month dreaming of our time there, so we had to come back! The spa, pool, and hot tub are so nice, and breakfast is amazing. Very small surrounding town, but the restaurant and local grocery store fulfill all needs. I recommend the lake view balcony rooms for couples - for only a few bucks more, you get a better view and a more updated room/bathroom.

Hidden gem just over the border
Much nicer than I imagined. Lovely setting, friendly bilingual staff, excellent housekeeping. A well kept secret just over the border that I would definitely visit again.

    Overnight in Canada
The staff was friendly and the outward appearance of the facility was lovely. The restaurant across the street was great- good food, service and views of Lake Champaign. However the room was not what we expected for $138.00. There was no decor. The beds were just box springs and mattresses with ugly bedspreads. The living area had a table and 4 chairs and a couch and there was a small kitchen. The bathroom was probably the smallest bathroom I had ever been in. My knees hit the bottom of the low sink when sitting on the toilet. Anyone taller or larger than myself could not have used the shower(I am 5'8). The tile around the toilet had been ripped up for some reason. We were very disappointed! The pictures on the Internet made the room look like something it was not. Maybe we just got the worse room!
