Nice place. Clean. Great conditions. Not maybe best place for total rest. A lot of Brazilians with loudy kids.
Overall had a great stay. There was an issue with the transportation, but the hostel dealt with it in a satisfactory manner. Made up for the issue. Everyone is nice there. The walk to town is about 10-15 min walk. Can be rough on hot days, okay during our time in Nov. in the morning is a bit noisy, but that is most likely true at other hostels too, given the tours that everyone is going on. Breakfast available starting at 4:00am which is great.
This place is so nice. Especially after talking with other people about their hostal/hotels, I think we really lucked out with this place. The room is quite large. Plenty of room for both of our big suitcases. The bathroom was bigger than I expected. (Honestly, if people think it's small, they haven't traveled much.) The breakfast is fabulous. Plenty of bread, meat, cheese, avocado, tomatoes, and fruit every morning from 4am-10am! They also had eggs, cereal, cakes, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, chocolate milk. Seriously, so much stuff. A tip for those who thought the rooms were too hot. The "evap" setting is the button for air conditioning on the portable fan units. Perhaps some folks weren't aware? Each room has a humidifier, so you don't need to worry about getting dried out. There is a common fridge area where you can put leftover food, drinks, etc. Next to it is a little fridge with bottles of water for sale. (Remember not to drink the water in San Pedro. It has naturally-occurring arsenic!) There's a little shop down the street on the corner with the essentials, and it's only a 10 minute walk into the main part of town. The real stand-out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the place was spotless. They've really invested in making sure the guests are comfortable. If I ever make it back to San Pedro in my lifetime, I would definitely stay here again!
We stayed here for 4 nights last month and absolutely loved it. We were allocated the newer room which was huge with a small fridge in the room and rainshower in the bathroom. They gave us 5% discount for paying in cash. The hotel pool seems to be well maintained and plenty of seatings around with some shades. Wifi was fast. They provide laundry facility with reasonable price too. It's a short walk to town square passing by a french bakery/cafe famous for its freshly baked croissant. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing the most comfortable stay at SPA!
Really good place to stay. Beautifully maintained and helpful staff. Just a walk away from the centre of San Pedro. The hotel has a bar and lunch is available and if the bar is shut you can get drinks by means of an ‘honesty’ book. There is also a large fridge for visitors own use. The smallish swimming pool is kept very clean, great to have one available after a trip. Rooms all open out onto the courtyard. Looks better in real life than in the photographs. Only negatives would be bathroom is very small and the pool area needs more shade but otherwise couldn’t do better!
I stayed with my family (4 adults all together) in one of the loft units in January 2019. The unit was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only issue was the lack of air conditioning; there was a small humidifier along with a small fan, however the fan was noisy and because the weather was dry, we woke up with dry throats for two days. The place was well decorated and maintained. The swimming pool was clean and the breakfast varied. I will definitely recommend this place!
Overall a comfortable hotel in the middle of the desert.
Loved, loved, loved this place. Had everything you expect and more. Excellent service and lounging areas. Great breakfast included. Clean rooms and nice pool area.
Fantastic place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful despite some language barriers! Only 10 min walk back into town but they did have beer on a honour basis and a guest fridge as well. Pool looked nice although we didn’t use it and enough space to lounge outside. Would recommend this place to couples and grefamilies.
This is a lovely hotel with an inviting courtyard that has a pool and comfy seating. It’s far enough from the town center to be out of the frenzy but still a very easy walk (10 minutes) to all the restaurants and shops. Bed was very comfortable . Bathroom is small and showing some wear and tear. The included breakfast is plentiful and reception staff very helpful. A good choice in San Pedro de Atacama.
